Subcommittees and Working Groups

Quality Improvement Subcommittee
The purpose of this subcommittee is to monitor and evaluate the quality of existing programs and to explore opportunities to expand these in line with Monash Division's strategic direction.

Governance Subcommittee
The purpose of the Governance Subcommittee is to establish and maintain a governance framework for the Monash Division and to assist the Board in the discharge of its responsibilities.

Finance Subcommittee
This committee advises the Board on the Division's financial position, risks and opportunities and the appropriateness of policies and procedures relating to financial management.


Working Groups
These groups provides direction and support to the program officer in the development and initiation of Division programs. There are currently eight working groups and each has a GP Advisor, several local GPs, either the CEO or Program Manager and the Program Officer. Each of the working groups report to the Quality Improvement Committee annually. MOst working groups also include community representatives and representatives from relevant local health services.


Community Advisory Panel
The Community Advisory Panel provides input from a consumer and community perspective, to enhance the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the Division's programs of activity.

 

GP Advisors and Representatives

GP Program Advisor
Provides clinical perspective to the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of a designated program of activity; provides input and advice to Program Coordinators in implementing program strategies; consults with Quality Improvement Committee and liaises with other GP Advisors and Program staff; represents the Division in external forums or meetings; participates in the development of the Division's Strategic and Business Plans.

GP Representatives
GPs are required from time to time to represent GP or Division perspective on externally appointed committees at local, State or National level.
